Three Bookbindings

By Gary Frost. Originally published in an edition of 100 copies and bound under the supervision of Priscilla A. Spitler during the Paper and Book Intensive at the John Knox Ranch, Fischer, TX, May, 1993. The binding for the original edition was the sewn boards style designed by Gary Frost with a Japanese linen spine, sides of terra cotta Iris book cloth, and Nideggen endpapers. The type was Palatino, worked up in Quark XPress 3.1 by Bradley Hutchinson and xerographically reproduced by Laura A. Wilson on a Sharp 8870 photocopier at BookLab in Austin, TX. The paper was Weyerhauser Cougar Opaque Natural. Copyright 1993 by Gary Frost.
