Sabina sewing:

Sewing books is one of the more relaxing and satisfying steps in book production. On this book Sabina is using a split station unsupported link stitch.

Sewing detail 1:

In the picture above you can see the needle being passed through the stitch in the previous signature, creating the link.

Sewing detail 2:

After the link has been made the sewing continues along to the next split station where the slack is pulled through tight.

Sewing detail 3:

A growing stack of neatly sewn textblocks is a nice sight to see.
